Bishop's Pumpkin Farm

We love Bishop's Pumpkin Farm. And this may be the last year we get to go with a preschooler. Zachary goes to Foothill Preschool with Miss Christy and she does very fun field trips. There is a lot to do and the kids have a blast. You can also get very big pumkins(I call them Cinderella pumpkins). The train is always a kid favorite.

Hayride out to the Pumpkin Patch

This was a cute show. They had pig raises at the end.

Zachary does't go down slides very often but he loved going down these.

There is a petting zoo, no pictures, and fun food to eat too. We even bought a new leaf wreath with purple and green leaves for our door.
What a great way to start out fun Halloween activities.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

Our Family LOVES these doughnuts!!! Unfortunately, they no longer have any in Sacramento. For that matter they don't even have any in Northern California. Well a dear friends mom was in L.A. and purchased these for us. She actually took them on the plane with her to bring them back to us. She had many offers to buy them but she prevailed.
It just so happened to be Family Night and we did not have a treat yet. So we got a special one instead. Thanks so much to Lisanne's mom. We love you.

Zachary's 4th Birthday Party

Zachary loves cars so we had a Speed Racer themed Birthday Party. We invited lots of friends and let the racing begin.

We started by having everyone make Pit Crew ID cards so they could get into the races. Then we decorated our goody bags w/ stickers and our name. Then we had two teams design there box race cars so that we could race them later on.

Devin is 18

I cannot believe that my oldest is 18 years old. It seems like just yesterday that we were bringing him home from the hospital. He has grown into an amazing young man, who will soon be leaving us and only coming back for visits. He will be starting at UC Davis on Sept 23. A freshman at my alma mater. Very cool. and it makes me feel old at the same time.
This party was probaly one of the easiest because Devin only wanted pizza, lots of snacks and cake. He and his friends did the rest. Which was mostly play video games and hang out. Alot of his friends have already started school and were not around but he had a great time anyway.

Devin and Zachary's birthday are only a day apart so we went out to dinner to celebrate Devin's but he wanted to share the birthday treat with Zachary. It was very sweet but he just didn't want to be sung to and we told the server anyway. Zachary enjoyed being sung to alot. This is my youngest and my oldest 14 years and a day apart.

First Day of School

First Day of school. The kids were starting back to another year of school. This year all elementary, middle schools and high schools started on the same day. Devin will start in September at UCDavis and Zach will start preschool in a couple of weeks.
